Why I'm building this
I drove for Uber for 2 years. I watched prices go up — not because they had to, but because they knew people would pay it. Meanwhile, Uber's service fee takes 30% of every fare — and after taxes, fees, and insurance, drivers take home barely half of what you pay. So no matter who you are — you're getting squeezed.
I started to give people a better deal where it was a win-win for both of us. And that's when it hit me — why should only a few people get a fair ride? Chicago deserves better.
I looked into building it, but most people wouldn't even try — either it was too expensive, or they were too scared to go up against Uber. I just needed one person who believed in this… one person who saw what I saw. And I found him. Austin.
Now we're building a platform that puts drivers and riders first. No investors. No middlemen. Just people helping people. We're one step away — insurance to get drivers on the road.
